	CD - Skip Bifferty A true psychedelic treasure, Skip Bifferty were part of the mid-60's Newcastle Beat Scene and during 1967 they established themselves in London, especially after an amazing Marquee residency. A self-titled album, Skip Bifferty, was released on RCA in 1968. One of their singles "Man in Black" was produced by Ronnie Lane and Steve Marriott. The band did regular sessions on The John Peel Show and they became firm underground favourites. Mick Gallagher and John Turnbull continued working together and went on to back Ian Drury in the Blockheads, Colin Gibson formed Griffin then Snafu in 1972 having played with Ginger Baker's Airforce and the Mark-Almond Band and later Bert Jansch and Van Morrison to name but a few. Of course we are lucky enough in 2008 to have him playing with Nightshift, Pass The Cat, and Buick 6. £10.00

Guitarist Mike Graff and drummer Michael Jerome, formally of the post-industrial rock band Course of Empire, have surprised their long-time fans with a new album of ambient instrumental music. Atmospheres for Lovers and Sleepers, the seductive, hypnotic debut from Halls of the Machine, evolved organically from their previous group.
